CHOOSING YOUR PUPPY

We currently are accepting applications for planned

Spring/Summer Litters

Allergy-friendly litter list positions will be offered to the families on our allergy-friendly waiting list first, any available spots after we have contacted all of these families will be presented to the families that do not require an allergy-friendly puppy.
We have a master waitlist and then we have litter lists, each family is contacted regarding a litter list according to the size, generation and color they have requested on their application.

Information and updates will be provided weekly for each puppy/litter in our private pages for each litter under My Puppy and will be available with a password to access for anyone on the appropriate litter list so that your family will be able follow along in their journey. Please do not email to ask about a puppy unless it is available to you, updates will be provided weekly and we ask that these updates are not requested by families.

When the puppies are 7 weeks old we will be doing puppy evaluations to determine each puppies temperament.
The puppy evaluation videos and score cards will be shared to the litter’s page to view after the puppies’ first vet visit (the date will be posted after we have made an appointment). Puppies will be chosen in person on go home day. Our number one priority is matching your family with the puppy that best suits your family and lifestyle.

Puppies should be considered based on suitability first, it is very important that your puppies personality type and energy level match your families needs; gender and colour can then be considered after this. For example, a social and energetic puppy will not find balance in a home with young children but rather with a family with children who may be in their teens or older, or even an active young person. Lower energy puppies will do well with younger children if they are also social,
a more shy puppy will require a less energetic home but will need additional support in socialization.

We do all we can to socialize and expose our puppies however, we will only have 8 to 9 weeks with your puppy.
Training, exposure and socialization will be just as important after leaving our care for any personality type, focus points can be adjusted depending on a puppy and how they emotionally/mentally grow in their new surroundings and family.

We highly recommend enrolling with Baxter & Bella before bringing your new puppy home.
